Derrick Greene (Sepultura singer) is actually a good frontman, his only crime is he isn't Max Cavalera. Soulfly are incredibly patchy but I can say, hand on heart, that the last Soulfly album (Dark Days) was fucking briliant.

@j19318 That's the point. A lot of people think that Max was the only, or the main force of Sepultura. Of course, he was a huge part of their style and he was the band's frontman. But it's unfair to write off the rest of the band, especially Andreas. He did far more than the leads, especially nowadays all can see that he's one of the most underrated guitarists. Look at the difference he did on Schizophrenia. Max is a great vocalist and songwriter, but he alone is not what Sepultura is.

Ok,the guy above is right,but it wasn´t only that,in an interview his brother Igor said the whole band was unhappy with Max´s wife(manager of Sepultura at the time),then Max´s step-son died(some says he was murdered),and by that time,even with Max´s grief,if they didn´t break the contract with Gloria,it would automaticaly renew by itself,so they decided to fire her.Max got really pissed because he thought he was betrayed,so he left.But as you must know,Max&Igor are back togheter after 10 years.
