We had a similar case in South Africa a few years back. 5 children... The little boy escaped and the father was sentenced 35 years. The boy was adopted by the lady who worked this case. The other children were put in foster care. His mother reached out to him, but he doesn't want anything to do with her, because... Although she was also beaten over the years... She stood by her husband. Today this boy is a beautiful 20y/o man

I still say if you saying to him he can't leave you he's all you have left why was it that you did not feed this baby you had to understand that in order for him to live he needed to eat you understood that about yourself you finally made it to keep your bedroom looking nice you managed to make it where you was able to get out and eat what was it about feeding this child I'm not getting that part you need to make that part make sense you knew he needed to eat in order to live I know you had to know that

@@homegown1234 Unless I missed something there was nothing mentioned about a mother. It’s possible the mother died and the father has taken it out on the innocent child. As hard as it is to fathom, those things do happen. If they’d mentioned a mother abusing the child, I’d be criticizing her just as much. My point is children look up to their father as a protector, not as the one they need to be protected FROM. If a mother abused a child I’d be just as critical, but there’s not enough information given to come to that conclusion,until we know the details, at least not yet.

What a heartbreaking story. I can imagine how this boy felt every day how he was treated by his father. This boy was strong and resilience to survive this far. His father is cruel and inhuman to his son. Lucky he got his father mobile by chance that he rang the police. What a nice police to take him to his home. His son was excited that now he has new friend who may become his brother. It was a happy ending for John. The police and his family adopted him to be his son.
