Sounds like her problem (my DM) not mine. I went through hell trying to get over her and now it is her turn. I apologized for multiple times for the role I played in the break up, but she refuses to hold herself accountable and I warned her when we broke up that not being honest and upfront with people; using them until you can run away with someone else, was going to cost her in the end if she doesn't do something about it. I am always open and willing to talk but every chance I gave her she shoved me away even harder. Two years later I am in the mindset that I can't make her do anything. An important distinction about power recently landed in me: Power that is derived from a place of Trauma expresses as control. Power that arises from love expresses as presence. This has enabled to embrace and value my inherent power; something I previously rejected. I’ve also been able to experience my own essence which has enabled me to value myself in a deeper and different way. Having more self- worth enabled me to walk away from a masculine that disrespected and de-valued me. He also attempted to punish and hold me responsible for shining a light on his behaviors.
