I met him before at my first job at the Santa Monica Pier… it probably was 2001… and he was playing a game shooting the basketball and winning prizes. He was giving all the prizes away to the kids around. It makes sense now that he was getting ready to film Juawanna Mann. He was sooooo down to earth and nice.

Back in my freshman year of college in 2005, Walmart had the infamous "$5" DVD bend, and the Juwanna Man movie was randomly sitting on top of the huge pile. I had never seen it before, but after watching it in my dorm room that night and dying of laughter, it has become one of my go to laughter nostalgic movies 😂 Even if it pops up on a streaming platform, I click on it and still laugh like it's my first time seeing it, I even sadly quote some of the lines along with the movie now 😅 "Slow it down sailor!" 😅😅
