The idea of him being one of the "most influential rappers" seems laughable to some but if you actually really look into what he did and continues to do it's undeniable. Past 2007, it's very difficult to say what Soulja Boy hasn't had an influence on in the industry. He was the first rapper to go viral off of the internet and make hits. He started the internet dance craze. Just look at what Crank That spurred on: Teach me how to Dougie, Teach me how to jerk, In my feelings challenge. Kiss me thru the Phone, Turn my Swag On, Pretty boy swag are classics. Produced Nicki Minaj's most iconic record. The list goes on
