@@candyeary Short songs going viral is a myth. This is the second album by illit with short songs. None of the songs including title track went viral on Spotify or the charts. Babymonster's songs are between 3 and 4 minutes and they have performed better on Spotify than most songs from illit excluding Magnetic. I think with this album not going as viral as Super Real Me with Magnetic they are having second thoughts. Why not concentrate on songs with a bridge if it doesn't matter anymore? I think the era of short songs have run its course. Even the members told the press they want to focus on the art in the future which indicates longer songs. They are also now focusing on live vocals in this cb. They have practicising hard and not just vocals, but also rap. If they can survive a performance between 3 and 4 minutes without break they will show the audience (potentially new fans) why they are an interesting group. Competition is getting more harsh as the audience requires more live experience on stage. There was an era of studio recording, streaming and short songs go viral. That seems to change and go back to live experience as the audience and market change again.
