Thank you Seema and thank you Ted. I started following one thing in my life which is not to plan that I heard from Seema. Being the queen of planning before I did not know how this would go. But it has been absolutely marvelous and I am stunned at how well this is going for me for the few months that I have been doing things without planning. I have been spared so many unnecessary thoughts and worries. Having my mind free has allowed me to see numerous things that I would normally miss. In the past so many of my foolish plans have failed that this makes perfect sense to me to just surrender.

I agree that God is me. My relationship between God and myself started when I was 6 years old and we have been friends eversince! After being in the presence of Sai Baba and of listening to his teachings, I realised that God is me and I am Him, his Spirit/Atma. God separated Himself from Himself to create all of us. The body's mind can still try to unsettle me......but I am working on it, ha ha!! 🙂🙏

At first she says she is one with love and happiness and that it is difficult for her to explain how she got there. Halfway through the video she says she is still catching her unhappiness and can explain how 'she' catches 'herself' with examples. We do all stay dualistic, but the more often 'you' catch 'yourself', the more time you spend in the side of love. I think that is the most important message.

Interviewer repeatedly misses the mark by asking questions starting with "But..." vs. 'And'. This subtle yet major shift would change the course of the dialogue & open it. And I pray for interviewers who can ask a succinct question, stop, & LET the interviewee respond. Seema is such a beautiful soul.

I am constantly torn between being myself when I am alone but when I meet the rest of the world (mostly people my age). It's a real struggle especially in instances when I notice that where my most important priority is to do yoga or study the Gita my friends are busy buying I phones or building their social media profile or trying to be the culinary experts ( without realizing that it's dead and murdered animals they're consuming) What advice do you give someone in their 20s to stay true to themselves even when they are out in the materialistic world?

+Pranita Sharma Because you asked, I would say that it helps to pay no attention to the outside world...or, at least to pay scant attention. My job, my one and only job is to awaken myself to my truest Self, to spring alert from the long dream of thinking I'm the mind, spirit body, or that eating meat or drinking too much or that having negative thoughts are wrong or bad or unappreciated. On the human path, all of these issues can be problems, but when you practice the act of awakening to your highest Self, there's little room for questions or perceived problems of the play. Of the drama we seem to be a part of. See, watch, observe, but don't judge. This is what I try to live by.

If yo have developed discrimination at the early age of 20, then it is really good. God will shield you from unnecessary contaminating exposure, at least initially, just as a small plant is protected by erecting a fence, until it grows into a big tree. I say this from my own experiences too... unknowingly, some of us attach our sense of wellbeing to what others think of us. In so doing, we think we ARE the persona we've created in order to fit in. I believe the event you mentioned is Swami's way of detaching you from such tendencies, so that you may learn of the glorious & divine being that you truly are. I know this issue feels disheartening, but our path with God is a personal one that not everyone will understand & that's okay. I hope this helps.

Learning how to live without thoughts as she says is not living without thoughts literally. You cannot not have thoughts. You cannot stop them. She means that you have to channel them toward God. Please understand that. If god comes tomorrow and tells you that you have to be devoted to him, it does not mean that you have to sit there with an orange robe without make up.
