I lived in Sathya Sai Baba's ashram in the period when most of this film was made. It was good to see pictures again of Swami looking in his prime. I still have love for him and at the time believed all the statements the commentary is telling you about him. Despite promises he would live into his nineties he went into a serious decline and died of an apparent wasting disease in his early eighties. In retrospect I now understand he was sadly just a highly gifted and charismatic individual, but a mortal as I am. He inspired, and continues to inspire much good humanitarian work, but he certainly was not an incarnation of Jesus, as he claimed. .May he rest in peace. If Jesus had planned to make a brief appearance in India between the First and Second coming, he surely would have told us.

According to the Lunar calendar of which Hindus live their Spiritual lives,Sai Baba did live to around 95, He was talking about the manifestation of God consciousness in himself as it was in Jesus ,Buddha and many others not that HE was Jesus. Sai Baba Jesus,Buddha,never thought of themselves as a person with name and form, but as God consciousnesses this must be understood, they also taught that we too are God consciousness,but live as an ego, a person which is a mind made self, it is not real, just an idea but we can evolve if we follow a spiritual life . Its a mistake to believe that Jesus will come again, that body is dead, likewise Sathya Sai Baba will not come again that body is also dead,what will reincarnate is the Manifestation of God in a Human form,the next one will be Prema Sai. a different body . Dont get stuck with the body identification it is temporary, follow the teachings of all the great ones and focus on the eternal Spirit, Atma as being who you really are. All these Divine Beings are Avatars ,but their body is subject to the laws of earth ,that is, illness suffering old age and death,Sai Baba himself said if one incarnates on earth then one has to pay the "taxes" even the divine incarnations. I do not believe in the filthy lies that some say about Sai Baba. He was a good righteous Being, doing much to uplift humanity, his Godly powers were real,not tricks as the ignorant say. Not one Spiritual teacher alive today compares in any way to Sathya Sai Baba.

As a matter of interest when I first heard Baba's name in 1987 I had an instant powerful raising of consciousness and visions, because we are all ONE, I knew who he was somehow ,which has continued to this day, no ordinary teacher could do that,I often get signs even though his body passed in 2011 aged 95.Lunar calendar .

@@jonsmith4669 Regarding age, John ,you can prove anything with figures. The age is irrelevant in the final analysis. Sathya Sai Baba was a great being and I feel it was a blessing that I could spend a year of my life in his presence. I witnessed several of his mysterious powers and the experience changed my life and outlook. After all, the body is an ephemeral thing. All great beings have had their enemies who maligned them and accused them of hypocrisy. Your getting so angry and bitter will achieve nothing. Whatever is the truth about Swami will shine through and endure. You cannot obliterate truth. Peace my friend, Sairam.

Please try and understand in that part of the world they use a different musical scale comprise of quarter notes . I don't know your age , but if you have heard Ravi Shankar play the Sitar , you will have an idea what I mean , somewhat like Jimi Hendrix playing the guitar. To a jazz musician it may sound strange . Bluegrass country music has quite a rapid faster pace of rythim compared to conventional country music . Another thing there beat counting is quite complicated , especially when playing the tabla , ( an Indian hand drum ) , coming to think of it , that's where Dave Brubeck got his Jazz Hit ( Take Five ) . The Native Americans have something almost similar when they all get around a big drum and sing and dance. See what you're missing . Another thought , they may not like your music either . I have not read such books of dissenting voices. But I have also heard some stories of some group 's malicious agenda to ridicule Shri Sathya Sai Baba. But these are still stories. What I find very true is the hard evidence of huge humanitarian servoce Swami provided. Even if there were cases of some abuse, which I do not believe, those exceptional services provided by Swami does not become zero. Right? Weighing the two as an independent observer, I give much much more significance to the help, support and employment Swami provided to millions. There is a physical body for any person. Therefore there is a possibility for such incidents. But if you read His childhood and the trauma He underwent to give such consolations to millions and converting a poor village like Puttaparthi to a town in a few decades with so many institutions is awesome. " Evils men do live after them, but the good always buried", thanks to us, is n't it?
