This song is based on the conscription in 1916, of Kazakh men by Russia to fight in its wars. Men from a region called SamalTau (breezy mountains) were being marched along, and one of them wrote a letter, which he dropped along the way, and it was found, and provided the words for this song. You hear the wolves, the jangling bells on the supply wagons, the wind, and the terrible grief of men being forced to leave behind their families, often to starve. Dimash was very deeply moved by the plight of these, his beloved erstwhile countrymen, and determined that they should not be forgotten. What you are FEELING so mysteriously, is the plaintive feelings of those men, which it almost seems like he is channeling, in a voice that he created just for this song. Only a few listeners express, spontaneously, that they "feel" something, demonstrating Dimash's success in his effort to keep those men's spirit alive. The spirituality in his voice is, I think, completely unique.

Иногда,мне кажется,что Димаш дельфин,он так надолго задерживает дыхание.На это способны только они.Как это ему удаётся непостижимо,со своим голосом он издает невероятные звуки,такое повторить не сможет никто.В мире была такая певица Има Сумак с голосом в 5 октав,она издавала "совершенно нечеловеческие звуки" и также,как Димаш свободно переходила от самых низких нот к самым высоким.У нас был,к сожалению неоцененный на Родине и рано ушедший,всемирно известный оперный певец Эрик Курмангалиев,обладатель уникального голоса контратенор.Он исполнял женские арии и это было великолепно и фантастически.Здорово, что Всевышний послал нам такого Ангела,как Димаш.Храни его,Аллах.Аминь

Потому что Димаш это делает натурально, без фальцета, без всякой шелухи. Это выходит "просто" из него. И это природно-феноменально. По настоящему феноменально. Таких одаренных рождается...ну, сами видите как. Один в 200 лет. Все остальные мужские исполнители поют в высоких регистрах, как за яйца подвешанные. For the 1st year of me being a HUGE Dimash fan, I don't know why it bothered me so much that people would say he wasn't human blah blah because he communicated the range of human emotions so well through his singing. But there is something you said I totally agree with, his "Angelic" soprano. I swear that it's otherwordly, it has an effect on me no other voice has. It's not like fangirling out, I feel a sense of calm and serenity. If that's what Angels or other higher beings of light sound like, I hope I hear that sound when I go. Yet another intensely beautiful reaction.

@ suzie2z , I don’t believe the music industry or anything could ever ruin Dimash’s soul, he is to grounded and genuine and he has worked for this dream all of his life, he will always stick to his roots, not to mention he is surrounded by an incredible family & support group which includes his father who is a music executive himself! Dimash is very intelligent, very driven, very hard working and from my understanding, very set in his ways in what his elders may call a respectful stubbornness! Btw, I would also like to be in Soul’s inner circle & be able to sit (or stand for that matter, like in Kazakhstan and New York, and watch a concert with @Soul and you! I’m from America & have never traveled abroad but it’s definitely on my bucket list but I will also be happy when he comes back to the US and does another concert in New York! I live close to Atlanta, Georgia so that would be a wonderful place to see him also! If able I would be willing to travel anywhere to watch him perform! Me, too! I think all the people in the group would elevate,and not even realize it. As for the music industry ruining his soul, there is no cluster of people who have a piece of Dimash--It's just him and his Dad and Krutoy. And Dimash is not tempted by money. He wants his concerts to pay for themselves, but he cannot be bought. He does the concerts only because he loves to sing. His father watches supportively and proudly as Dimash calmly turns aside any effort at tempting him to bend his principles.

Dimash is legendary. He's historically unique. Not just in the notes he can hit....but how he hits them. His dynamic and interpretive instincts are genius. His body language and complete surrender to the music with exquisite artistic and technical control is second to none. But what we really are witnessing is the expression of the man himself through the medium of his brilliantly honed to perfection voice. He has earned the accolades he receives. I just don't want him to be put on a pedestal as an idol....but respected for his genius and amazing music he brings....and loved for the fine example of a human being he truly is.. He draws from a deep and beautiful well that is also very rare. He could not sing like that if he was egocentric and just out to wow people to make a name for himself.. He takes us on a journey....and we are eagerly buckled in from beginning to incredible end. Great reaction Soul. As many times as I've seen this performance....I feel that same way every time. This composition by Ygor Krutoy was also sung previously by Pugacheva and Philippe Kirkorov. Remarkable performers too. At the beggining of the nineties two good russian friends, both musicians one a composer of a song called "You love me" (Te lyubyish menya) and the other a singer were talking about this song. They decided to work together and broyght in a russian gorgeous actress. The result was an incredible hit of 1992. The composer was Ygor Krutoy and the singer was Alexander Serov. He also mentioned that Dimash was a big MJ fan, so I was curious and watched both vids. I think it was Opera2 and SOS. The rest is history. After knowing and studying Dimash this whole year, it was clear to me that he and MJ have very much in common. I love them both and it makes me so happy that MJ is also Di’s big idol. Whether Dimash is aware of it or not, but he is the only one that can continue the mission of Michael. He already started doing that some time ago....

Because I came across to Dimash’s Instagram through Igor Krutoy, and when I saw a post dedicated to MJ, where Dimash wrote “Happy Birthday King 👑 “ I thought : “Wow, that’s interesting 🧐!” (u know that most of singers trying not to mention MJ, even if they’re fans of him 😒) I decided to listen to at least one song🤔 Though, first song was “The crown” in Chinese, even I didn’t understand any word, I had goosebumps. So, now I’m not only #moonwalker but also #dears! And I’m so proud of that 😁 MJ and Dimash really have so much in common. I even see similarities in characters, in relation to people, good breeding, modesty, humanity, etc., and they have same values ​​in life! That angelic tone: yes. When a man can hit a soprano register, it does sound different than a woman's voice, fuller, maybe? Dimash has a big old head. Bags and *bags* of resonance in that skull. Plus his long tall body with his long tall lungs. I think maybe the only woman who can approach the fullness of his soprano tones is Floor Jansen, and I think her height and body structure (she's *tall* and *strong*) makes a big difference.
