Unsurprisingly this song works very well as an 8-bit remix. This bops hard. I don't know why it's taken so many years for youtube to finally start recommending me soulless remixes but I'm here for it.

Just got this recommended, and KZbin asked me how good a recommendation it was, on a scale from 1 to 5 I said 5, and I selected “Entertaining” and “Other” as the reasons. The “Other” being that this is a very good remix! It captures the power of the original Soulless 5 very well.

A little constructive feedback: The audio mixing felt kind of off. I had random audio spikes through the video and it made it somewhat hard to be able to just sit back and enjoy it. Overall great content, but could be something to improve :)
@howtoavenge10165 жыл бұрын
yeah, the way that i make these things makes it hard to prevent that. If you take a look at the project files, you'll see that this is divided up into separate parts, all with each track having their volume just a tiny bit different. sometimes when you crank the volume of one of the drum channels, it'll click. believe me, i've noticed these things and try to improve upon them with the next releases. thanks for your thoughts.

@howtoavenge10164 жыл бұрын
I don’t know all the nuances of 8-but composition dude. It wasn’t designed for any console. I just started up pulseboy and got to work. If anything, it’s more of a chip tune than a true 8-bit composition.
@UltimateExplosiveGaming4 жыл бұрын
@@howtoavenge1016 yeah that is probably the point of it, and you didn't set your own limitations, you just did what you could with pulseboy, which lets you do alot more than 8bit, so just chiptune then

My only complaint is that this doesn't follow the rules of a genuine 8-bit sound. In 8-bit, there's a limit to how many sounds can be played on one beat. Technically it ain't 8-bit, but it still sounds great
