Wow, what a really great explanation vid. I put farming and breeding away for so long and I say to me since days: You should start with some farm plots and check it out. But.... there are always other things coming in my mind. Mainly exploring this amazing world. Besides most things I need I found by exploring. Often much earlier than I learned the related tech. You can get all you need from babarians and the nature. I love this game for giving me so many possibilities even if I mess up somtimes with the complexity and dependencies. With your guide I have something to walk through. Great overview pic at teh beginning. That will make my start easier - hopefully. :D And let me say you, your presentation and the structure of your guide is so excellent that its far better than some proffesional training guide. Well done. I keep looking for some more like this.

As someone who fully automated food production to make all midgame food (anything you can make on worktop), I would say the most difficult is during the part you haven't have access to sulfur ore, why? I find tomatoes the most very demanding crop at this stage, for ex: if you have many crops that require stone fertilizer, you might, need 3-4 plots just tomato to supply acidic fluid and salsa the same time. Stone fertilizer is going to be your enemy at this point as its slow production will hinder other crop's produce. Rely on capy pens for fecea not outhouses, its more reliable but it means you need a plot for potato for capy feed another one for corn for turkey feed. Another one is make sure that you have a "withdraw" task for a dedicated laborer who is just collecting stuff in those granary, breeding farm, beehouse, etc. as well as "store", i have tried only using withdraw but AI sometimes fuck up and end up not storing them - he ended up having around 50ish task- a lot of work but works perfectly escpecially if you named your chest. Once you have acces to sulfur ore, producing acidic fluid is not an issue anymore so prioritize that you plan to make good quality food and variety of them. I am the camp master preparing evrything for a party of 5 playes. btw there's a limit to how many farms you can place, auggestion is to put it on top of foundation, cleaner and eaisier to manage. Anothe 1 problem at first is salt. 100- 300 every salt run on those salt pens that you have early to mid game until you have access to salt ore that will solve every refined salt shortage you have.

You need the granary for that. As soon as you have someone who is working on that one, they will actively seek out chests that contain both and apply them. I for the medicine itself I just set up cicle crafts for the things it contains and make like 2 per 3 hours. Usually thats more than enough to keep the farms clean.

it is set by server, you can modify it though.. also that depends is you play solo or on a server.

Vanilla is 18 per player once fully charged up to a max of 50 per tribe. We have set it further for us to 21 per player via server settings.
