if you want to have someone revive you when you are down in a boss fight, take a companion and tell them to stay at the edge of the fight, then call it in to save you when you are down.

Wife and I did this the other day. Went in blind as we like to do for the first time. Killed the little frogs, we had some poison resist 1 on our gear pieces. Fight starts and I speared him for massive damage, and then again. I was like oh this is too easy, then got hit with the purple poison, got in one more hit then I was dead and ran back from the campfire as my wife finished it off. Good times.

No, gypsum can be gathered from other rocks, found in chests, and eventually crafted, but no actual nodes that im aware of
