There are easier ways to get Alpaca babies. 3+ camps in the 2nd half of Jungle area have baby Alpacas. The ruins camps with just 3 NPCs. Far easier than having to fight your way into a large Tribe Camp.

You can bypass the mini-boss chief in the flint tribe. If you walk up the ramp after crossing the bridge, you can jump the fence past the mini-boss. After grabbing the alpaca, you can jump the fence down from the ramp right down to the south entrance of the camp.

I found a baby alpaca in an out cast camp right near the flint tribe boarder on top of the hill east of the respawn area close to the beach.

That first location. İ went there but no baby alpaca. Do you guys know if they respawn? İ went there the other day the pen door was broken since i broke it and still no baby alpacas.

Possible stupid question, but if I put say corn in their inventory once they are mounts, will they eat it automatically at a certain period?

They will eat it yes, they can also eat thatch

i found ONE alpaca in the map it doesn't have it's camp icon displayed on the map until you discover it. I think north east of that second camp you're in. just 3 outcast and 1 alpaca. easy early alpaca.

Yes that one is an easier grab. It's directly SE of the first scout location up on top of a mountain.

there is breeding pens for non-mountables such as capys, turkeys

@@Tipperrr You don't need deer for leather. you can make it with beast hide and tanning oil... Tanning oil is made with tree bark and water. All are made on the tanning station.

Sounds like someone else may have taken them recently. They can take a bit to respawn too
