I went offline on steam just before the demo ended so im still playing ...i wanted to do everything in one area before i stopped and the game drops, a little over 100 hours for that one jungle starter area , thats finding every tribe every cave fighting all the bosses except for the one North West because its blocked off. I am so damn excited to play the full version i cant flipping wait lol Now all i need is a good tribe to hang with 🤣🤣

Ah that’s awesome. I can’t wait to play and see how in depth it goes. Luckily, it’s not long to wait. I’ll be doing a series on it for sure.

Played the heck out of the demo. The people that left critical reviews were not wrong for earlier builds of the game. They spent much of the demo speeding things up, so by the time you got to play it on the last days, everything felt MUCH better. The devs have been very receptive to feedback, so here's hoping the EA build addresses most of the issues people still had with the game. It could be the next Conan/Ark if given the proper dev attention.

Yeah, lot's of people comparing it to Conan, made me re install it lol. Going to do a new Conan series, any tips? Will you be playing Soulmask?

@@IronsideGames Depending on price and what changes they make between now and EA launch, there's a good chance that I will. One of the things you noted in the video is that early levels combat is particularly bad. Granted, I don't know that I ever saw you use a weapon's heavy attack (hold mouse), or any of the good 'F' skills. Later combat is better, but, imo, doesn't stand up to some of the better options on the market. I've never played Conan, but I put a good number of hours in to Ark. I'd say Soulmask has better "Thralls" than Conan, but in either case that doesn't compare to the dopamine hit of owning and riding dinosaurs.

How many dinosaurs is too many lol. I didn’t use all the attacks but I never made a melee weapon. I will defo be starting it and recording it. I’ve tried Conan when it first came out and really enjoyed it, then, Life happened lol
