In my country I can get the bespoke jet ai 250w version for $350 cheaper than teh 280w version. Is the 280w version much better?

The variation between 250 and 280 watts is not too much tbh, you should be more than ok with the cheaper 250w version :)

If you already have the non AI bespoke I don’t see a major benefit of upgrading. The AI is useful but not enough to warrant the cost if coming from an existing bespoke m.

How would this compare to the Dyson equivalent?

If you have long hair or lots of pets, get the dyson. If you have astma or want less dust in the air, get the samsung, if you have space for it. They are both almost the same when it comes to battery and power.

Really bummed it only came with 1battery and that my old bespoke batteries won't work in the AI model. Also can't find the new batteries anywhere

So 1k for a hoover that lacks some needed features? You can’t clean under a sofa/closet, the light although is bright is just on the middle :-? I paid half for a bosch series 8 gen 2 and it has the “ai” feature where it recognizes the floors type all though the cleaning itself on the stand i think is pretty smart. Plus just a black color, i like my electronics to be white

For vacuuming large sections of the floor you HAVE to buy a robot, like dreame l10 or Xiaomi s8. This is for spot cleaning. If you do not have a robot that’s your first mistake.

I had the same problem! It resolved when I cleaned the hepa filter that is on the top! apparently it has a sensor that detects air flow.

I'd say if you have pets and pet hair everywhere, get the dyson. If you have problems with bad air quality or asthma, get the samsung.
