Impressive tech hunting! I just tried out this game yesterday and its ticking all the boxes for me. Have you any tips for gaining more combat points? I'm struggling to get perfect S ranks for all of the demo.

Bro you have no idea I just found even crazier stuff in the demo today, I'm def gonna make a new vid. I enjoyed this demo so much I almost feel bad not paying for it... Steam says I played 24 hours on it lolll I SSS'd the 2 first stages on Alys Must Die today, if you're still struggling for combat points, you can just abuse Million Stab. The "combat points" system is a bit weird : after you land X move 3 times, it becomes "exhausted" and doesn't give any score until you land 4 different attacks, which "unexhausts" that move X (still testing but that's about it). Whiffing an attack doesn't count. Pretty much "dont spam the same attack plz" In short, spam your strongest attack 3 times, hit 4 different ones to refresh it and repeat the loop. Also, points are obtained per successful attack, regardless of the amount of enemies being hit, meaning in small stages like the first one, slamming multiple mobs at once might not give you enough. You can just isolate one and launch it upwards to combo it alone in the air. Tho, Million Stab is weird. Since you start it with Piercing Cut, PCut and MStab count for 2 attacks, and the optional finisher (the final stab if you spam [heavy] at the end of MStab) counts as another one. So you can pretty much spam Million Stab with finisher 3 times, then hit mobs with 2 different moves, and that's enough (spamming MStab too fast might cancel PCut before it hits anything). Million Stab excels at so much stuff tho.
