I can’t say enough about the book “The Warning” and the other book she wrote with Marino Restrepo. They changed my life. Here I was thinking I was so “good “ and I had no idea. Truly they have humbled me and I will NEVER be the same. I bought the books for my mom and dad and sister because I truly -> TRULY feel - EVERY Catholic or even Christian - gosh maybe even every human PERIOD - needs these books.

Makes my mouth water, longing for a "family" to go on pilgrimages with like the example Marino spoke about in Ireland, and offer up sacrifices to make reparations for the world. I love my group of friends who I go with often to pray and make pilgrimages.... but no relative... no husband, or child, sibling or parent to join me. I think that is sacrifice many of us have to make and offer to God- to feel so isolated, going alone just as far as family goes, and give that pain to God to use according to His Holy Will. Come Holy Spirit, come!

Maronites are the main Catholics of Lebanon that took their names after St. Maroun. My conversion also started in Lebanon but it took the whole Lebanese army.. long story.. but it worked when i asked God for help. This Marino guy seems that was telling my life story. Christine Watkins has done a tremendous job in all that she does in bringing Christ to the masses and I applaud her on especially the touchy subjects like consecration and illumination of conscience. I came to the Catholic Church in 2019 at the hand of the Virgin Mary on a journey that began in 2012. Pay attention to Christine she is telling the truth and is doing a great work. Christine I have your book and I need to finish it, my daughters birthday is coming up and I feel i ought to buy it for her, she is searching so much, into crystals, lunar cycles and such like, but I always think well at least she is looking, and totally respects our faith and my ‘beliefs’ as she puts it! Also i do hope you read this Christine, what you said about suffering and offering it up for the Lord to do a redemptive work, for salvation of souls has truly touched me. Having had life changing surgery and radiotherapy in the last 9 months I’ve been genuinely led to do just that, and have done so willingly, just offered it and united it to the Lords’ suffering, not because I’m anything great, but by his absolute grace I have been blessed to understand it. All that said, I am human and have shed lots and lots of tears along the way, I’ve heard much on the teaching of ‘offering up or uniting our suffering to the the Lord, but truly the few words you spoke on this have just been like an epiphany, thank you so much. The old spiritually immature me would’ve thought it crazy, but nowadays having grown over the years I am thankful that the Lord can even use us in our suffering, Amen! Amazing, testimony! I was raised in a devout Catholic family but, we have 2 lost sheep. I love ballet! I was a swimmer spent hours going back in forth swimming. You lose contact with life. You remind me of my sister. The message to Matthew Kelly from God the Father on June 5, 1993, cited in THE WARNING, was first published in Matthew Kelly's book, WORDS FROM GOD, pages 70-72. Jo Ella - I think you are probably right after all - I listened more carefully to his accent, and although it sounds Irish to me, (I drew that conclusion based on his physical appearance) it does sound more like a Trinidadian accent. I also googled his name and the Trinidadian Guardian newspaper mentions his name with a brief background. My apologies. God bless you.

I don’t mind these talks, quite a fan of Marino - not so sure about Christine, she always seems to say something that doesn’t quite sit right with me though I can’t seem to pinpoint it. One thing this time was the extra line in the Hail Mary. Why? There’s nothing worse than going to a funeral where the Priest says You isntead of Thee, it cause such a terrible distraction to the beauty of the Rosary. Christine says it’s from Our Lady and that it has Bishops approval but why? Why wouldn’t Our Lady just create another prayer to suit rather than modify one that we all know? Constant changes to prayers, liturgy and rules are so irritating. Why couldn’t they (meaning the whole world) just please leave all prayers, hymms and the mass as it bloody well was? Even as a kid my gut churned when our Catechist introduced a cssette player in our church during my first holy communion so she could play some ‘happier’ music. I felt so miserable as an 8 year old and coldn’t understand why. As far as I’m concerned the last hundred years has been a disaster by so many ‘inspired’ individuals trying to ‘improve’ the Catholic religion. If it’s not broken then don’t fix it.

It teaches religious indeferntism and tells us not to try bring protestants into catholic church. Jesus doesn´t contradict himself. Whatever is different than deposit of faith is not from holy spirit no matter the popularity of the person. Mysticism is no value of it´s own. There cannot be contradictions to the deposit of faith. The same with Marino´s book. It´s partially true with drops of false theology. Jesus does not contradict himself. We should care more about deposit of faith than signs and wonders because lot of those signs are not coming from God.
