I used to love professions I did tailoring and enchanting but got so booged down I gave up..now I found I guess wow head made a guide..day late dollar short.if I can get everything now from the world and delves I'm good I don't have to do professions anymore it was fun while it lasted until they screwed the pooch.

I like the idea of being the middle man/woman in the process. Depending on whether my actual gameplay process will go beyond levelling to max before switching to an alt etc I may just stop at the intermediate items and sell the bulk of them. Can’t wait until I can see beta when it happens.

People hate professions no matter what. People hated dragonflights i loved them, before that, i believe proffesions were mostly useless except for enchants and gems. And older ones to make money through mounts.

It would work better to just need like 3 tier 1 ingredients (*), or 2 tier 2 ingredients (**) or 1 tier 1 ingredient (***) with alternate of lesser tier 1 & 2 just needing an a boosted reagent as a catalyst to upgrading them up a tier from their native tier

Thanks for the Video! I question I have for TWW crafting that I have not seen anyone touch on is Artisan Mettle. Is there any info on it? Are we getting a new form of it or utilizing the existing mettle, rolling it over to the new xpac? And let us all pray either way that they make this a currency and stop making us waste storage space for it.

Professions are a mess right now. It's so convoluted and complicated I just stopped leveling it.

@@2Chep I really find that strange. I really enjoyed professions in Dragonflight. Right off the bat I used them to earn over 8 mil gold in the first week. But, I acknowledge that a lot of people feel that way. It's deffo different.

I think they have some good concepts, but I agree, too complex and convoluted. It’s also too grindy imo. I think they need to dial back the trees to one tree, maybe add some more points in the tree etc.

Crafting, more Craft, to do more Craft just to make a final item kills fun factor of the game. That sort of crafting system belongs on a Role Play server only.

I miss the days of TBC when there were items you could craft for yourself that were top tier like the Shadoweave, Fire Cloth, & Primal Mooncloth sets for tailors by just farming mats & using your specializations. A lot of crafted gear is easily replaced, but that's not crafting's fault. Even raid, mythic, and all other gear is replaced every patch anymore. I'm not a fan of crafting in Dragonflight at all. I was excited for a change, but I'd rather have the old tired system.

I HATED DF PROFESSIONS!! Most things were locked behind rep and dailies. You were handicapped if you didn't focus on spending alot of time doing things to earn new recipes and rep grinding. Yes, i understand that it did rewards players that did but its super time consuming and not rely worth my time to do anything in DF. Which sux because I've maxed out my JC in every expansion but DF

So, Blizzard made things unnecessarily complicated because, reasons. In addition I have to do homework in order to know what to do. I have a job, I don't need another one that I pay to do. Yes I know, "If you don't like it don't do it". This is why I don't do it.

I really hope they make professions better. The gear, the pointless complexity and RNG, it’s not fun and mostly not profitable. This is the first time I have ever not leveled every profession.

You're going to need concentration now to make things in world of Warcraft? That sounds a lot like raid Shadow Legends where you have to make items or upgrade them and you have a chance of failure and you still lose your material and money in the process of trying to upgrade and I know according to everyone else that plays this game, that's bullshit

At least as much as we know right now, concentration is a time-based "top up" mechanic rather than a failure to craft. If you need 400 skill to get rank 5 and only have 350, concentration can fill in the gap to get a guaranteed rank 5 but you only have so much and it refills fairly slowly - at a guess something like storing rested XP where it takes 10 days to cap in a rested zone. Could be two days, who knows at this point. The takeaway is that if you don't have sufficient concentration, you'll get the rank four item instead of the rank five item rather than getting a failed crafting attempt.

I'm very worried that it will require a rare-drop BOP recipe from a mythic raid boss or a non-craftable 3-million gold item bought from a vendor in order to make it.
