I own a few audio recorders. I'm always listening for sounds. A creaking door, footsteps in a courthouse hallway, railway work, and others. Fun and fascinating.

A few years ago, the railroad behind my apartment complex was improved. They were installing 1/4 rail sections, and the sound of striking it with a hammer was like a Star Wars weapon.
