Delicious rocksteady sounds from studio musicians, very well formed, jazzístic and delicious and involving. The coolest sounds ever!

That´s it. More microphones for drum and bass (for example 3-3 and 1 for brass section 1 for the keyboards… not an exact example), in more proportion than previous styles, going straight to harder and less variations/simpler but more effective sounds, dub, lovers reggae… there where lots of lovers reggae versions from this peculiar ly creative though short period (67-68)

Keep lookiń: Treasure Isle rocksteady, Beverly Records, Studio One… and more. Totally delicious, for loving and peacefully dancers in waves as drum and bass and fabulous jazz touches. Independent music also, no CBS, RCA…

More AFRICAN oriented each year. James Brown was decisive too, as reggae resembles or recalls funky sounds. Several times I have spinner 69-70 reggae tunes with my co-DJ was playing funky tunes 😂😂😂 It worked!!!

And how guts can move and in particular if played with great sound systems with thumbing dum and bass over all, softly punching your stomach. Impressive
