Try to have one as a pet. On that case, they are really annoying at the start 1 month at least. Why? Because they are like poop dispensers for every 15 mins or so.

Pigeons can remember faces, so if you feed them every day or so, after a while of you coming back they will recognize you as a safe person, but it might take months to build trust

Alhamdulillah, i do but i feed them in my window grill. Please don't feed them on road sides near open gutters coz they pick grains from the gutters too and develop stomach diseases. They die a painful death in some lonely corner then.
