Hi Todd... two things... even three... 1) Bless the Lord for your gift... I'm ever impressed. 2) I'd really like to see you do covers of the Christian genre 3) Production-wise... I've often used the same "long black leadout" after something emotionally moving... and it really works good here.... 'props' to your producer.

This took me by surprise. I was not expecting it to be as good as Disturbed-especially when he takes it up a notch. God bless you Todd.

This was definitly good. But it was not on the same level as the original. I doubt anyone can make a better version than disturbed, david's voice is just perfect for that song.

To express yourself in vocal form with your version of this iconic song is one of the best versions I've ever heard, Disturb do a great version and a few others but you Express it with true emotion singing it with your own feelings. Depression is a terrible thing but song like this make the difference. Great job.

Honestly I was waiting for some kind of a mistake in the song but it was quite simply perfectly done. One of the best versions I've heard.

Hello darkness, my old friend I've come to talk with you again Because a vision softly creeping Left its seeds while I was sleeping And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the sound of silence In restless dreams, I walked alone Narrow streets of cobblestone 'Neath the halo of a street lamp I turned my collar to the cold and damp When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light That split the night And touched the sound of silence And in the naked light, I saw Ten thousand people, maybe more People talking without speaking People hearing without listening People writing songs that voices never shared And no one dared Disturb the sound of silence "Fools" said I, "You do not know Silence like a cancer grows Hear my words that I might teach you Take my arms that I might reach you" But my words, like silent raindrops fell And echoed in the wells of silence And the people bowed and prayed To the neon god they made And the sign flashed out its warning In the words that it was forming Then the sign said, "The words on the prophets are written on the subway walls In tenement halls" And whispered in the sound of silence

I never thought when I was a teen listening to this song in the seventies that it would be so very fitting and the way everything seems today and I miss peoples smiles and their eyes there are barely windows to the souls because they wear these mask which which means don’t talk to anybody don’t look at anybody don’t have a connection to anybody don’t love anybody …..I refuse to wear a mask I will continue to share my smile ……. For at least all babies and children to see it…..God keep us strong and Jesus keep us together please thank you for sharing and your beautiful voice too 😇
