What's great is everyone realizing how deep Scott can go. Whenever Avi, or now Matt, sings a solo, and you still hear a bass line, most people think it's Avi/Matt on an overdub. But it's not, it's Scott taking over the bass. Go back and watch this video more closely. Watch when Matt is singing. In every pan where you can see Scott, notice that he's not singing words. He's humming and booming. It's pretty impressive, and Scott doesn't get due credit for his range, because he's usually featured in his upper baritone to tenor range. This video shocked a lot of people, just for the recognition that Scott has a low baritone/upper bass element to his voice.

I love PTX. This is a great cover, but I hate to say it... it's a cover of a cover. Their harmonies, as usual, are killer, but what David from Disturbed did with it just knocked it out of the ballpark. The song is dark, and this just felt too light. The rawness that David gave it made it off the hook. No haters, please. Just being honest. PTX is still one of my all time fave groups. The depth they have and the range of some of these guys is just amazeballs.

@@ChibiChula Yes. I grew up with hearing it from my parents. Simon and Garfunkel did not give me the same emotional feeling I got from watching Disturbed. You know you've done a super job when the creators of the original song reach out to you and commend your remake of it, as Simon did to Disturbed when he heard their song done on Conan.

@@warzshadow9701 Yes, Disturbed did a fantastic job and I did hear about the original artist reaching out to him. Just wanted to confirm that you knew it was a cover since a surprising amount of people don't. I just love listening to the original, Disturbed's version and then Pentatonix's versions one after another because it really shows that HOW you sing a song can change the meaning of the words dramatically. The original is like a someone drowning in rain, Disturbed's version is like an ominous warning and Pentatonix's version is more like defiance in the face of darkness. It really is astonishing to me how that works when the lyrics are exactly the same.
