Your point about Bryan having one last shot at the title would make sense, had Cena not promised to give him a title shot if/when he became WWE World Heavyweight champion.
@TheSolomonster11 жыл бұрын
True, but the idea is that Cena will somehow be screwed over and not win the title.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Outlaws win the Belts.Maybe have them hold the belts until Mania where The Usos will win the belts.The Usos are long overdue for the Belts

For a Raw that could have been huge, they really messed things up. The Batista reveal was lack luster, I don't know why they even did the starting promo with him, he should have just came out after ADR beat Rey, beat up ADR, then cut his promo. Then the debacle at the end, you just gotta wonder what on Earth these people are thinking sometimes.

Bryan not likely being in the Rumble has really thrown my predictions out of whack. I suppose it's possible that he and Bray could go to a no contest and wind up in the Rumble as consolation. I can only assume Batista will enter at 30, but probably won't pick up the win. In fact, I think he and Brock's quest for gold will see their paths cross on the way to Mania and find them squaring off in New Orleans. I'm still under the blind assumption that Cena and Taker will close out the show, so the title match could be anything. For some reason my gut tells me to pick Reigns as the Rumble winner but I know it's a major longshot.

So funny coming back listening to this to hear them questioning if Rollins will be ok after the breakup of the shield, and he is now WWE AND US Champion at the same time and the top heel in the company.

The underwhelming for what was expected reaction to Batista's return I feel is because we get. The authority begins to build him up...then Orton comes out and we get a boring seen it for month routine for 10 straight minutes..then Batista just sort of..shows up. It wasn't a big moment anymore. Peoples minds had been off him, in a bad way. Its as if the opening segment was 'lets setup the main even at the PPV , lets set up the storyline about Cena coming for Orton...oh crap we ran over get Batista out there, no time to hype the crowd just go!! Its no wonder so many people were either 'eh ok..' or 'that return sucked.'

So this Big Show/Lesnar shit was done almost perfectly back in 2003. I know most people will have forgotten, but how can this be billed as a big deal? Brock Jobbed to Cena in a match he should not have lost, which show cased WWE's lack of foresight. The PPV after he lost to the Rock, he gets a win a returning legend who is supposed to be unbeatable. Remember this was supposed to be "Cena's worst year", something they only coined a few weeks before Wrestlemania. But he beat the man that broke Triple H and potentially retired him. So Cena beat Brock. Brock jobbed to Triple H, their rematch was a dud no one remembers. Since coming back Brock has refused to get into shape. He look so much different than when he left, he looks bloated. Not his body (which is flabby) but his face, he looks like he is made out of cauliflower (ignoring his ear). His legs look like a holocaust survivor's (a crude comparison, I know). So he has this massive upper body but can't do leg exercises? All his matches since he has returned I have been distracted by how small and anemic his legs are, regardless if he actually put on a good match or not. So to put this now deflated Lesnar with a jobber directionless Big Show, wtf? Big Show goes from heel to face on a dime. He harasses the Authority, then he punches Bryan, then he punches Orton. He helps Bryan, he gets a title shot. He wears a diaper and team with Rey, now he get Lesnar? What the fuck is going on in their heads? Brock should have never lost to Cena, which would have raised the stakes for Triple H that his former enemy Cena, the top guy, could not beat Brock. This then makes the "Cena's worst year" more valid. Have Brock beat Triple H at Summer Slam and Mania. You are paying this guy huge amount of cash, to slow his momentum for your ego is retarded, it is bad business. The Mania match should have never been a Career Match and that should have ended the feud. Brock beats Punk, goes away. Triple H announces his return which solidifies Triple H's "Best For Business" gimmick, that he puts aside his blood feud with Lesnar to entertain the fans and make money. I have no clue what to do about Big Show, he has been a mess for 99% of his WWE career, with glimpses of his early WCW days in 2003. They are do inept at WWE they cannot even tell a simple story without insulting the intelligence of the fans or just failing to do so all together.

I hate to be the person to say this but their is no way Emma or Paige will be wrestling at Wrestlemania. I would love to see it but the WWE have invested way too much time and money into the total divas to not have them wrestle at Wrestlemania in some way shape or form. Normally we never see more than one divas match at Wrestlemania anyway. Another reason for this is the fact that the Bella's and the Funkadactlys match got cut from last years Wrestlemania and this was shown on the first Total Diva's episode so I think it is safe for me to say that, that will not happen to them again this year. I hope I am wrong on this though for I would love to see new divas brought up to the main roster in order to provide the division with some much needed breathe of fresh air and a Emma or Paige feud with AJ I think would be awesome to see.

Cody and Goldust should be on the main card and not the fuckin kickoff show. They should lose dirty to the Outlawz. Cody and Goldust should split up on Raw the next night. Outlawz pass the belts to the Usos and Cody and Goldust face each other at Wrestlemania. Yes.
@TooSickG11 жыл бұрын
It seems they feel like having a great match on the pre-show will attract more people to buy the PPV. But as Solomonster said, at 7:45PM it is pretty well guaranteed people have decided whether they will buy the PPV or not, so the pre-show should really not be used in this way. I agree, this match should definitely be on the main card.
@SBTheBully11 жыл бұрын
TerranRich excellent point but even if cena doesnt win the belt back, theres still a chance Bryan can find his way into the Money In The Bank match later this year. So theres a good chance he has maybe two more chances at the belt instead of one.

It's funny in hindsight listening to him talk about the Shield was booked. When if you look at it today Rollins has been booked the best, and Ambrose the worst. Reigns is just being forced and nobody accepts it.

Its way too soon to put Wyatt in a movie, it pissed me off at SummerSlam when he wore a 'Follow the Buzzards' shirt. His character is a psychotic religious brainwasher that may very well be Satan himself. If WWE wants to keep kayfabe, throwing that guy into a movie would be terrible. A man with a gimmick like that should not be advertising.
