Hahaha - it's definitely worth it! Even if you only use the beats once, you're still supporting indie developers. ;] I would also advise attending beat school first, as it gets you familiar with the samples. As for Sony.. well.. I was figuring Microsoft would harass me first as I've accidentally sold a bunch of their Surfaces - but they probably saw all of the Sony related videos and ran away. [I was even playing my PSP while waiting on line for the Surface] Anyway, thanks again. ;P

@@altairps3HFW Start with a simple drum pattern, then create the base of the song on the same page using only notes. Once it sounds nice, separate some of the notes onto page 2 and page 3. Then go back to page 1 and start placing objects/enemies/etc around the page until it sounds good, then start to form the level. Continue altering, testing and tweaking until something is solid. Don't worry about the level looking good at first, the most important thing is flow. Hope this helps!

@@altairps3HFW Sounds pretty good. For your next level, try making the progress go only right, meaning keep creating pages to the right of the first page. The third page should have some type of progression to the next phase of the song. 😸

Unfortunately at the time of this comment - there is no way to import any samples or... anything. ;[ The only conflict I see if this were to happen pertains to sharing - licensing BS will surely come to play as you could just convert the community section into a music repository; I hope I'm wrong though, because creating music in games like Sound Shapes, PixelJunk 4am and Amplitude on the PS2 _to me_ lets the creativity flow much smoother. To each their own though. ;D
