This video mentions taking an anti-inflammatory before bed. It's also important to now that things like NyQuil knock you out which is counterproductive because you're training your body to not settle down unless you take something. Valerian Root, on the other hand, can help you relax when your muscles are screaming and that allows you to settle down and go to sleep on your own. It's not knocking you out or taking something like melatonin to chemically make you sleep.
