I've been infatuated with digital music for a while yet the further down the rabbit hole I go the more I find references to mathematical formulas. This stuff is fascinating yet overwhelming and (in my case) it's not practical to learn in great depth in order to become a good musician and sound engineer. That said, the general idea presented in this video was extremely helpful. Thank you for filling in so many gaps and educating people on this compelling topic. Though I know very little I am very inspired by this quote: _"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration."_ - Nikola Tesla A little off topic, I've also taken some interest in the _law of vibration._ The way cells are composed of protons, neutrons and electrons vibrating in a synchronized dance is truly amazing and it's the speed of these vibrations that determines whether something is a solid, liquid or gas. When we consider that all sound is vibration it truly gives credence to things like talking to plants and sound/vibrational healing in my view.

I am a math teacher but given a task to teach physics like I don't have knowledge in the concepts. These videos are really helping me understand the concepts a lot. Yes I am a math teacher, yes I can compute, but how can I even understand the problems if I don't know the concepts?? I am really thankful for these videos and to YOU.. The best feels like a student not a teacher. Again Thank you very much

Here is one helpful tip: 39:33 . When you calculating distance , you can calculate first what intensity will be for 1m with 1m you can easily calculate what intensity will be for 5m , 1.3m . For example intensity of sound from 2 meters is 100w/m2 , following this formula X/4=100 , since it is 2m distance we convert 2 , into 2 squared and that is =4. Then you multiply 100*4=400 W/m2 ,and you have intensity from 1m .Then you do similiar thing with 1.3m distance , 5m distance .For 5m you first calculate the square of 5 which is 25 ,then you divide 1m distance (400) with 25 ,and you get correct answer 400/25=16 , 16W/m2 .Same thing with 1.3m, 400/1,69=236 , 236W/m2.

46:18 You can also instead of direct calculation by level of intensity, you can also convert level of intensity to intensity then calculate the distance (150m). When you calculate the distance , Then you convert to level of intensity . IDK maybe this method is simpler for someone.

If you would have taught the same with this tone in a class, everyone would have called you a boring teacher. Maybe that's why people rush out to KZbin. And then they found the same boring teacher making interesting videos with boring tone, and getting popular for their teaching skills. That's why videos are effective. Because you don't learn for impressing someone here. You learn here for the sake of learning as you know that skipping the video is giving no benefit to you here, but in classes you can, and you love to! (Everyone loves that)
