Hey Mark! thanks. I hope you found it helpful. FYI, if you do a google search today for what is. the top search term, "online session drummer," you'll see my website for online sessions come up a few slots down from SoundBetter, on the first page of google. as of today, 7/27/23....so the strategy works

What about for niche producers, like genre-specific or specialist (vocal, orchestral, Christian, whatever)? Doesn't that increase your chances of getting found on SoundBetter?

Hey! Sorry--Just seeing your comment now. Your know, its possible you can do OK.... I would check into it. All I know is that if you are a drummer, it appears to be a bit too late.....there are shit loads of drummers on Soundbetter. So, you might be right... the more niche, the more likely you might have a chance...If you look into it, let me know....I'd love to hear what you think MF

do you think getting top listed on google is any easier than on soundbetter?😁

Hey sorry for not answering you faster… I JUST saw your comment for some reason…I don’t think any of this stuff is easy. But it certainly looks like Soundbetter is a completely closed marketplace for drummers. The strategy I talk about on the video has been working for me….so…is it easy? No…absolutely not. But it’s an option that is more reasonable than SoundBetter…. At least IMHO…. I just think it’s too late. But in Google land, it’s never too late because of how the algorithm works.

I have to agree with you and everything said in this video. And that applies to most of those websites, IMO.

hey Marc - thanks for your comment. Yeah, I think that if you got there "early enough" and had a strong list of credits you could do well. But the thing that really struck me, which I talked about in the video, was that there are people with AMAZING credits who charge $150 a track. That's insane to me and a losing proposition. The idea of being on your own is much smarter if you know how to work the search engine world…. that is starting to work for me…. my studio drumming website is rising in the google rankings and I'm getting more work because of that…. I deleted my soundbetter account months ago….thanks for watching, Marc!!

@@MarkFeldman Good to know you are doing even better outside the realms of those sites. Glad for you, Mark. I might think about it as well... All the best!
