I just got the JBL CHARGE 5 and i love it the sound is aswm.. I never need to go over 50 volume it is perfect and the bass is overpowered and with the jbl portable app it makes it better like the app only has eq and rename and about etc but still loving it worth the price🔥🔥

Did you say that you can set the max volume in the app? So like if you dont ever want to turn it up to 100% you can set the max to 80%? That would be handy because I think speakers usually sound bad when turned up to max but I havent heard the Charge 5 at max yet so we'll see when I finally get mine.

JBL have revoked the new firmware that gets you the equaliser because it is unstable, they are working on a revised firmware which will be released in the future.

First, it’s hard to see how any sort of realistic sound test of a speaker can be performed over YT audio. Second, I have yet to see a single speaker test on YT that used an actual sound level measuring device, y’ know, decibels and all that. People love to say something like “This is 60% volume,” which is of course completely uninformative.

You can't use the speaker while it's charging. Hard reset won't work.

There is none. You need to purchase the a adapter separately.

why would you expect a charger? not even phones come with chargers these days. they just assume if you are buying a speaker, the least you would have is a phone to connect it to. so you would just use your phone's charger

Yep, the charge 5 sounds better and louder than the charge 4, but if u want more sound, its better to switch to the xtreme series. But still charge 5 sounds better too

It's worth the upgrade! Regardless of what everyone says, JBL Charge 5 is currently the overall go-to in the whole JBL lineup. In comparison with the Charge 4, huge step up, louder volume, more clarity. Definitely worth it

No, its a bug with the app. I have a jbl flip 4 and sometimes it does not directly show up in the app. We have to turn everything off and start again and reconnect, then it works
