I have motion boom and i love it lasts so long is one of the liudest speakers I ever had. The problem is i had the soundcore motion boom plus and it lasted on 5 hrs in high. My motion boom lasted 20 hrs on high. I hope this isnt sacrificing battery life for volume. I ordered a boom 2 we will see. Wish with motion boom could pair with others.

Just got boom 2 and certified bass head confirmed. They both have their unique sound. Boom 2 more bass disappeared at high volume. Motion boom did not. Boom 2 also lasts 5 hrs on high about 12 hrs half volume bass up lights off.

a few years ago I discovered the soundcore company, actually under the name Anker, already then their products were inferior in terms of quality and price, I already have several of their products, I am very satisfied with each of them, I have never regretted the money, and interesting is, never any of their products it didn't break down on its own, which is rather rare these days, because we all know how devices are manufactured today - to replace them after some time, but not these soundcore ones After your review I buyed this boom 2 and I'm sure it will be great as the rest I have

I bought this speaker connected to my Samsung Galaxy s21 . trying to get dedicated sound streaming from Amazon music. I keep getting interrupted when a phone call comes in And The music keeps stopping when I try to use voice to text. If I can't figure this out I'm sending this thing back.

I don't think this speaker has 80w of power, probably a gimmick. Use logic, that size that power nah... For reference JBL Boombox 2 is only 60w (battery) and it's triple the size & weight of Boom 2 😂

Can't place it inside a cabinet. The side-firing radiators can't fully move due to the cabinet's sides. I'd rather have all the speakers facing front and radiates at the back. The cabinet resonates the overall sound and enhances the bass.

I wonder how this compares sound-wise to the Mifa Wildbox? The Wildbox is also available for under $150 and offers the same or more features, e.g. 60W of power with two bass drivers and two tweeters (btw, that driver in the Boom 2 is not a subwoofer), is also IP67 rated and adds SD card playback and AUX IN as well.

@@MrLeon21300 A subwoofer, at least in the modern use of the term, covers low bass frequencies (usually 80 Hz and below, but I've seen cases where they're used a little higher), not a significant portion of the audio spectrum like the bass driver in this speaker must be covering. Tweeters typically cover 3 kHz to 20 kHz, but I've seen a few used down to as low as 1 kHz. If that driver was a true subwoofer and the other drivers are tweeters, what's covering the range from 80 Hz to 1 kHz ?? So either it's not a subwoofer or those are not tweeters.

@@furiousgamerofficialYT Good point, but that's with Bass Up mode engaged. Otherwise it's 60W. In any case, going from 60W to 80W results in about 1.2dB extra output. Noticeable? Perhaps. Output also depends on the efficiency of its drivers. The Boom 2 is actually IPX7, not IP67, rated, so the Wildbox beats it there.

I have 2 blasts but I'm curious on how this one works. I know it's not stronger but it's more portable. Blast won't fit into my underseat compartment on my scooter even I have 23liter space but I know this one can. I'd love to get this once it's available here. By the way, I love my blasts. It's just it's too heavy since I don't have a car just a scoot and gotta be placed in a bag strapped on me. 😢

Therefore JBL will be built slightly better... That is just a guess though. I do not have my hands on a soundcore 2 yet.

Most speakers are an easy cash grab for companies. Everything is made for as little money as possible to get max profit and then they use china to create it for cheap before coming to europe as an example and is being sold for much higher price, because we don't know what its worth, but we wanna be cool, so we buy it, but it would be cooler to build aka DIY a bluetooth speaker.. You just need to design a box and install the hardware with a glue-gun..
