You sound so chill, happy, and just honest. I liked this video a lot. I tried these a few months back and was blown away cause I got something incredible for base Airpods price. I did switch them for Airpods Pro because they felt a bit more natural to have with an iPhone. I’m considering a switch to a Galaxy S23, so I’m considering these again over the Galaxy Buds just cause I don’t like beans in my ears. I like the stem and controlling what I do with my buds that way.

Just got my pair. First thing, you were right about spatial audio. I wasnt a fan of this feature when I tried it before on other earbuds, but it hits different when listening to old school music. Been listening to this Syreeta album and it is a phenomenal experience. Overall, dope pair. It essentially takes the L3P and put it in the regular liberty. So it's not a huge step up per say if you coming from the pros, but likely a big step up from the last regular liberty pair. Ideally these are the L3Ps minus the jank, which is all I've wanted for a while now.

@bjenksful - Hey, I saw your comment here that you had posted a while back about buying the Liberty 4's. How has your ownership experience been over the last year? I bought a pair of the Liberty 4's for a family member a few days ago as a Christmas gift. I actually bought the Liberty Air 2 Pros 2 years ago and I still use them on a regular basis. I prefer them over my Jabra Elite Active 75T earbuds, the LA2P are more comfortable and seem like they have better sound quality.
@bjenksful Жыл бұрын
@edcipriani8873 So I actually ended up returning them because they were causing me ear irritation and (at the time) I couldn't find proper replacement eartips (which were the culprit of the irritation). I did really enjoy them and were sad to send them back. I cant fully compare to the LA2P, but it's probably multiple steps up. I've tried Jabra before, and like you, I did not like the sound. I still recommend the L4s. The sound and comfort were excellent in my opinion and I really liked the squeeze controls. Soundcore did start selling replacement eartips of a different material on their websit that seemed to work. Bu at this point, I've just decided to wait and see if they drop a newer model.
@edcipriani8873 Жыл бұрын
@@bjenksful - Thank you for your response. I actually might have a change of direction here today. I found the Liberty Air 2 Pro's on a Black Friday Special for a great price, so I purchased 2 of them. I will keep one at the office, the other one might be a Christmas Gift instead of the Liberty 4's. The reason for change of direction --> I read a few reviews on the Liberty 4 today, and several of the comments mentioned that the treble/highs on the L4's is/are much more harsh and over-emphasized compared to the LA2P's. I did a side by side comparison of the LA2P's and the LA4 on one website, and it seems that the Bass and Mid responses for the LA2P are more accurate than the L4's as well. I know both have a customizable EQ included in the App, but I also know from owning the LA2P's for the last 2 years that their sound quality is really great. The Liberty 4's are still being shipped and will arrive next week directly from Soundcore, I am thinking about just sending them back - they were also on a good BF sale. I know the L4's have many more features than the older LA2P, but my ownership experience of the older model has proven they are worth it. Maybe I should just send both pairs to my nephew as a Christmas gift so he can have a back-up pair as well? Yeah, and I also am waiting to see what Soundcore will release down the road as well - with both their earbuds and their speakers. I was also looking at the AeroFit / AeroFit Pro as a possibility down the road, as well as the Motion X600 BT speaker. Right now I already have 5 BT speakers so I think I am good for now. The other company to watch - Marshall, many of their speakers are amazing.
@bjenksful Жыл бұрын
@edcipriani8873 ahh ok. I'd be interested in what your own ears would think in a side by side comparison. But that is interesting that the older model has better sound. Idk what your nephew is interested in but he might appreciate the extra features on the L4s. But then again, I'm looking at the LA2P and it has more features than I thought. Might only be missing multipoint and spatial audio. I was curious about the AeroFits too, but I'm holding out for now. I was really interested in the open ear concept a few years ago. The Galaxy beans were almost my go to earbuds, but they just wouldnt stay in ear. My current earbuds (beatsfit pro) have really good transparency, so idk if I need to concern myself with the open ear concept anymore. Very tempted though since at least 90% of the time when I wear earbuds, they're in transparency mode. Same with speakers. I have an older Marshall Stanmore that I sent in for repairs. I also have a small portable speaker for my bike. Im attempting not to own multiple of the same type of product, which is why I have to stay away from these consumer product videos lol.

I received my Liberty 4 yesterday and couldn't wait to dive in and enjoy them. It's lived up to my expectations except for two areas. I noticed a significant sound shift when I toggled between normal mode and ANC/Transparency mode. Anyone noticed this? The other area where I am slightly disappointed is in the bass area. The L3P does better here than the Liberty 4.
@Visionikz032 жыл бұрын
yep noticed the muddied sound using anc while playing music. I reported it to anker already. should be a simple fix with firmware update. also the ambient mode eq needs tweaking. it's also kind of muddy and muffled. not as bright and clear as my lp3 pro. I told them of this as well. 🤞🏼for a quick fix. as far as the bass goes I think they should've included an xl tip because I feel like the large barely seal my ears and if I start moving they eventually lose their seal and bass goes down. because of the unique oval tips I'm not sure what aftermarket options would work.
@sicebim12 жыл бұрын
@@Visionikz03, thanks for your feedback. 👍🏽 Was starting to think my unit is faulty and I should send them back.
@Visionikz032 жыл бұрын
@@sicebim1 I did a comparison of left ear with LP3 and right ear with L4 via split sound on my galaxy note 20 ultra in aac mode and both definitely have the almost identical bass response when they have good seals. I find find some old aftermarket tips that fit the L4 although not oval and they did help with the bass a little bit so that's good news. It didn't seem to affect sound quality much either. I wish the LP3 xl tips would fit the L4 because it fits my ears perfectly.
@sicebim12 жыл бұрын
@@Visionikz03, thanks for this comment because I went and played around with the tips that came with the Liberty 4s. What I found is that the bigger tips increased the amount of bass and they cut down on amount of 'sound shift' when I changed from normal mode to ANC/Transparency modes. ANC and Transparency modes sound similar to my ears and in these modes you get a bigger dose of bass almost similar to the L3Ps. So, what I then did was to create an equaliser profile specific to the ANC/Transparency modes and one specific to the normal mode. When I want heavy bass, I just switch to the ANC/Transparency modes and when I want normal base I switch to the normal mode. I got the mids and highs at almost identical levels in all modes. I must say that with the bigger tips, bass on the normal did improve significantly.
@joelshrem88362 жыл бұрын
Late to the party but I didn't love the sound out of the box but do now. Don't use ANC or Transparency Mode: Vocal Mode, sounds good with weak bass tracks but heavy stuff can distort, even with the 100hz band down all the way, so Normal or Transparency Mode: Fully Transparent 100% of the time (I even removed ANC on the triple tap touch control so it's not in the mix at all). It's less bass but will NEVER bottom out. Next put the 100hz band up all the way, 200hz +1 or +2 and the top 2 bands down -1 or -2 since they are very bright already, I am beyond happy now with bass heavy songs hitting really hard and clean but can also force some thump on less intensive tracks.

Instrument separation is awesome thing, it's like nxt step before binaural and most of brands just make exclusives on it, it's not always available, which is sad. As for me, EQ and ANC performance matters, I look at graphs now before buying so I would need that first, as I like bass, not highs, but I'm audiophile so I want natural(no EQ modification) playback without worry about quality. Got my pair during after watching many videos including this one. I also have the Q35s so I am familiar with the brands pros & cons. As far as controls that (almost) no-one seems to bother, there is not even an option to customise the call experience/buttons behaviour during calls. Only this is a deal breaker as one of the pros of these earbuds is the microphone quality, so you get them for the calls. You cant set a button to mute mic or hold active call. The add-on of press and hold would solve these issues with the proper implementation on these features on the app & firmware. So since you have a direct contact with them that a good UX feedback for them. Sound quality is OK. I would say that I prefer them over the AirPods Pro2, but still my Jabra 75t sound (much) better than both of them. Bass is there, but it's not loud/deep enough not only compared to the Q35s that literally sake your ears, but also compared to t75s it's just not there. Wearing them after wearing the Jabras for a few songs, they just sound bad even after hours of EQing them. The separation might be a bit better depending on the genre you listen to but still jabras just sound better. To put it simple, all bass-heads would prefer 75t over this pair, for casual listening during calls they perform more than enough. I tried to love the spatial audio feature, some times the effect is good and some depth and extra bass is present but most of the times it just lowers the overall sound quality especially at higher volume., That's not the case with AirPods Pro 2 that spatial audio makes a huge difference for the better on most cases. I found it nice while connected to the TV to test Dolby Atmos. ANC is good in almost all conditions. Very good during flights, good for distant and constant noise, not that effective at a crowded coffeeshop. Voices just cant be fully muted with any ANC. Transparency not on par with high end earbuds like AirPods Pro/Pro 2. The have a fair price/quality ratio but there are not what you present on your videos. Most impressive feature is the mic quality. Wireless charging is a big plus at this price range, fit and comfort is good, but for those that wear earrings be aware that they will hit the buds during walking and its annoying. The lack of customising the call experience & use press and hold to adjust the volume (could be fixed over a firmware update) is a big NO for me. If I knew it I would probably not buy them as this ruins their best feature (mic quality) and makes hard to control everything (play/pause/skip track-previous track/ volume up -down/ and on-transparency/ voice assistant) without using my phone/watch so that's bad for a new pair of buds.

Sounds like an old pair of beats would satisfy your taste. Gang.

@@Jason-ot8fw Probably you are not familiar with the quality of sound provided by the 75t! It's not all about bass! It seems that on the liberty 4s the bass is EQed for some reason. you can test this by cycling normal - ANC back n forth. there is a change before the EQ kicks in that the sound actually sound deeper but still maintains the nice mids and highs. my guess is that they do it deliberately, if not its an EQ bug of some kind

I currently use a Jabra Elite 75t Active for about 2 years plus now and I must confess, the sound is amazing. I got the 85t as a gift but gave it out. It was too bulky for my liking. Sadly, mine unit is getting old and the right earbud is having issues which means I have to change it and this liberty 4 is looking like the most likely next option as I don't want to spend too much on an ear bud anymore

A bit disappointing to all those other SoundCore fans out there though. 'It's a U.S. only product.' So no one else can get there hands on the product. Hopefully this doesn't put a long lasting dent in their reputation. Great video as always though 👌

I've just switched to L4 for a few days and below are some of the issues I've encountered on L4 (also the app) I guess some of them could be fixed by app and firmware upgrade in the future 1. The ANC mode on app isn't always your last choice, you have to switch to HearID manually. 2. I switched from one with a hook which are super fit and firm to my ear, L4 isn't too loose but need time to get used to it 3. The ANC isnt always 100% ( guess 80%), sometimes they's weird white noise in the street that should have been obviously cancelled

Hey are these issues fixed now or not? Also I've heard one earbud dies early compared to the other so is it true or not?

Liberty 3 pros volume wise are better. The fact these have spatial audio and heart rate sensor, feel great in your ears , and have plenty of bass and audio. Make them awesome. But close #2. To. The Liberty : pro
