This song has such a unique vibe. Its apocalyptic but somehow serene. I loved thier more mellow downtrodden bluesy stuff, puts me in a moody kind of haze that is just magical. Also the lyrics are eerily beautiful.

How have I missed this song for all these years? I have been a huge Soundgarden, Nirvana, Alice in Chains fan since I was young. When Chris died, a part of me died also. It's hard knowing that all of your favorite bands frontmen have died. Being from Washington State, they all had a huge roll in my life. This song has been on repeat for the past few days. I can't stop thinking about it and about Chris. Life is just not the same. RIP brother.

I don't know why Soundgarden doesn't play this song more often live. Well, the last year they played 8 times (according to setlistfm), but i think it suits perfect for Cornell to sing it. 3/4 of the song is in la low-tune key of singing, which is no problem for him.
