Im in tears after hearing of Chris' passing. Just going to post this here. My favorite Soundgarden track. After Scott Weilands death in late 2015 one of the first thoughts that went through my head was that well, at least we still have Chris. Lets hope he's safe. I started to really dig into his background, listened to many interviews, right to the point where, and I know this sounds weird, Chris had become a friend. Rest in peace, some interesting dude you were and are.

Yup. I believe this one was. Not 100% sure though. It ended in '97, I believe.

i have seen them live about 5 month before their breakup in AHOY in The Netherlands ...and i ran away from the concert because there was a bad vibe about the band....they really played their songs awful without any joy....and it showed,a few months later they broke up.. too bad....but i still love soundgarden very much for their timeless records...

I honestly feel like this song needs to be too short to keep that really eerie feel to it.

@skiingisgoodforyou Man their last three albums have been all a tie for me. Sometimes I put them back to back to back in my CD changer.

Generally bands degenerate with time. Most of the bands I've really liked, I have to admit, most really should've quit before they did. They burned out. But these guys just kept getting better and better. And then they abruptly quit at the summit of their musical powers, and that just left us all wanting more. It was the rock and roll equivalent of coitus interruptus.

they played bad because they all hated this tour. thayil and cornell confirmed that. they didn't wanna be there.
