Probably the best part of the song! The time change is so tough, at first, my ears couldn't comprehend it. Now I'm trying to find someone that can explain the mechanics behind the very weird sound. But God damn, it is a nasty breakdown.

@ILikeWafflz8 ай бұрын
@@user-zt2wc3uh1l You should take a look into how Gavin Harrison approaches odd time signatures. He's part of a number of projects (Porcupine Tree, The Pineapple Thief, King Crimson, 05Ric) and he makes the wackiest stuff flow like 4/4 or 12/8. Speaking as a hobbyist drummer that's always liked odd time signatures, and have always enjoyed Matt's feel and appreciated his mastery with making them flow, Gavin completely changed how I approached them with just one song: Cheating the Polygraph by Porcupine Tree. Anyone reading this should give that song a listen, he makes the 7/8 portions in it flow like butter.

I almost died in a Soundgarden mosh pit once a long time a go during Jesus Christ Pose. My laces on my Docs became untied and people were stepping on them. I fell to the ground and I litterly couldnt get up and was getting trampled on.... panic had set in quickly turning into acceptance that this was how it was gonna end, i really am going to die in a Soundgarden mosh pit......Then this hand reached down to me and i managed to grab onto it....this random dude yanked me out of what was certain death....to this day i will never forget the look on that dudes face...he gave me an all knowing nod as he knew what he had done... i mimicked thank you back to him just as the current of humanity shifted us in different directions...... I then pushed my way out of that pit of hell....but dude, if your out there somewhere and you read this i just want to say thank you.....thank you for saving my my life. I will make it count. ....
