When you get into this you will realise it has its own particular production sound to that compared with other big orchestral libraries out there. Spitfire, Metropolis Ark, and Orchestral Tools have their own sound qualities when you use them. I'm referring to sample creation and sample quality in the broadest. Symphony Series is excellent if you don't want headaches and need instant results (and its user friendly too). As an example this can, work very well for epic sounding trailers and game music. If you were planning on making a very demanding piece of orchestral music such as a piece of music similar to John Williams (Star Wars) i would suggest getting a collection of different orchestral libraries. Think about what kind of music you're trying to make and get something that suits your style of production/composition and the quality you're looking for.

what about solo instruments ? would you know where to look, I m looking for solo brass to make big band compositions but Im struggling to find some that dont have the huge orchestra sound
