The song and the anime of oshi no ko has a meaning on not just the dark side of idol entertainment but also another message on internet culture as a whole I know that the series tackles the dark reality of idol entertainment industry and majority of the entertainment industry But I like that the series also tackles the horror and mental issues of Internet culture + online communities and how it effects on actors/ actresses mentality. Plus, how internet culture has become more toxic with reactionaries youtubers and people posting their opinion without understanding their own actions effect others (cancel culture, Twitter, etc.) And Internet culture/ community cause more damage to people as the ones behind the idol industry Oshi No Ko never takes sides and I like that the anime/ manga shows both the horrors and problems of both sides

@@thundercreeper96 well, lots of shows get "current season" hype, look at AoT, SAO, not sayin its not a good show, i love it, never skip the op OR end songs, but will it stand the test of time years to come? too early to tell, FMA:B, as you said, already was number 1 for 13 years, personally, even with its flaws of taking liberties due to airing while it was still being written and not having a clear ending, i think the original FMA was better, could just be bias from watching it first, then the movie, then FMA:B which skips things because most people already watched the first or read the manga, but they also changed how mustang reacted and treated the boys and his motives for doing so, maybe its closer to the manga but still leaves a bad taste since the first introduction was the original anime series for me

if you read instant bullet you won't be that surprised. Aka Akasaka has a tendency toward tragity. in fact his original concept for kaguya was to be a tragity not a comedy, his editor convinced him to do a comedy. and as heartbreaking as oshi no ko is, it would have been worse had he not been talking out of killing off akane, and instead turning her suicide attempt into a failed attempt (the first draft she successfully deleted herself)
