Soundpeats True Free 2 Review + Mic Test - $30 Treasure or Trash? Let's Find Out!

I’ve had mine for around 2 years now. Been using them at the gym mon-sat for 1 1/2-2 hrs and they are still going strong.

This week i went out on my road bike while it was raining. and i wear my rain jacket with cap tested my Trueshift 2 and mpow m12.. both earbuds have the same problem that is the touch surface registers touches when wet or moist due to the rain.. so volumes goes up/down music pauses or the buds go in to pairing mode.. no one will tell you this hahaha.. that's why i'm looking to tryout a TWS with buttons.. (excuse my English, i'm dutch)..

I enjoy mine i usually use just one at a time soo I can still tool into my surroundings at home, work, or just being outside...unless I need to zone out the noise...but for my first pair of wireless buds was definitely buy again, going to get a 2nd pair soo I don't have to drag one everywhere... good review

When I bought my kitchen glassware it definitely wasn't with the mindset that I would be dumping earbuds into glasses of water. Earwax water... it's the taste you can see. 😂

Not at all. It is silent. Is that something you are experiencing? If so what phone or device are you using and is it all the time or in specific apps?

@@daddoestechyt I just bought them! Coming next week, I used an EDIFIER TWS1, and the hiss was constant ... my device is a ZENFONE 5Z.

That would be sooooooo annoying lol. I was goin to say I was wondering if they were trying connect as if you were about to play something when you open an app but if it's constant even when you are not actively opening apps then it's definitely something connection related or within the buds themselves. Greetings Dad Does Tech. Thanks for this review. While I'm aware that it's outdated, the reason I bought just bought the TrueFree2, brand new, was for my daily workout for its IPX7 rating and secure fit. CURIOUSLY, is it normal for the battery to last only approximately 2 hours and 48 minutes at 80% Volume? Hoping to get your immediate response as my return window's coming soon. Thanks again.

I think both are great. The sound quality is very close but the sound stage is different. I feel like you get more frequency range in the M30 but the overall thump and drive of the bass is waaaay bigger on the soundpeats. If you want a super heavy bass line and you like buttons then go with the soundpeats. If you want a more "how the artist intended the sound to be" type of sound and you like touch controls and more battery life then go with the m30. Hope that helps!
