Right side acoustic neuroma and deaf on that side-left side AIED with severe hearing loss. Tinnitus mostly on right side. Likely too late to benefit me, but I'm happy that there is movement on this because it is extremely isolating and depressing.

I got Eustachian tube dysfunction, bsound sensitivity, sensitive to audio, ear aches. Tinnitus. Ear fluid behind the ear drums. Dizziness. So much. We gotta find some remedies and have better ENT doctors out here that care about patients truly. I hope we get a cure for tinnitus foreal. I also hope we cure Eustachian tube dysfunction in a quicker way, nose sprays don’t do anything just relieve the issues for like 4 or 5 hours. I have ear fullness, all these symptoms for 10 months straight now. I saw an ad that the tinnitus basically kills your brain is they true? Like it shrinks it or something? I’m only interested in these issues bc I have ear issues and I make music i love recording vocals and making beats. KZbinr Andrew huang is deaf in one ear and he make music but he’s been dealing with his ear issues for like 12 or 13 years and he finally went deaf in one of his ears a few years ago. I ALSO have a “benign tumor” in my brain. I got lock jaw and sensitive painful ears one morning after recording vocals the night before, it hurt so much. Something expelled in between my ears and it felt like blood and then I got tinnitus like less than a minute later. Would love to somehow help out in any way. I am trying to move away from music but it’s so difficult to do. I am trying to make video games now or contribute something for video games. These issues really changed me. I workout more but yea my ear issues aren’t gone. My ears feel like crickets rn. Was making beats on my phone. Low volume but even then my ears still feel full. They feel okay without making music and not being around loud sounds. The annoying part is the ear fluid bc I know this stuff is probably hardening stuff in my middle ear. Vanderbilt has a camera that can go through Eustachian tubes to the middle ear. Pretty dope. Would love to have that for me. I got an ear tube and it made my hearing worse. Wish we had better techniques to help our ears and PRESERVE our hearing. We need to be better.

I'm very surprised that Dr. Julie is supporting Lenire. The entire study that was done on that device has some very questionable clinical support and no placebo group. It seems that it works no better than placebo. The device Dr. Susan Shore is working on seems like it will actually work and has clinical studies done at the University of Michigan that show actual clinical improvement. I wouldn't waste a dime on Lenire.

Dr. Julie never endorses or supports Lenire. She mentioned its development before they received the De Novo classification from the FDA. Until Dr. Julie has the opportunity to evaluate Lenire for herself, she will not support it. She will; however, keep people informed about what is on the horizon for tinnitus treatment options.

@@Sound_Relief_Tinnitus_Hearing I was just surprised she made any mention of it at all honestly. Its a snake oil device with no clinical research.

@@joshblovsky7538 Many people have been asking about what Lenire is and how it works. Neuromod has already conducted some promising research and has more data that will be published in the near future that was conducted to achieve the FDA's approval. From her 20+ years of experience working with tinnitus and all of the treatment options that have been launched (i.e., Neuromonics, SoundCure, The Inhibitor, The Levo System, Neosensory's Duo, etc.), there will never be a "one-size-fits-all" approach that works for addressing this symptom. It is her opinion that the more tinnitus treatment options we can learn from and discover new concepts that improve our understanding of tinnitus in the brain, the better. She always tests products on a small sample size of her own before launching any product to our entire group. She must see for herself how well the system works and if it is even worthwhile to pursue it on a bigger scale. Thanks for your opinion though, as we appreciate all perspectives on new options as they become available. She is following Dr. Shore's work with Auricle, Inc. and hopes that they have something to offer us as another tinnitus treatment option in the near future as well.

There are no hospitals offering stem cell treatment for tinnitus in the US. They are currently researching how to use stem cells for tinnitus, but this is not something currently available for treatment.

Living with hearing loss is difficult. Have you tried hearing aids? Stem cell treatments are not approved by the FDA and will likely not be for at least 5 - 10 years.
