Jake Vivanco i think most people are drawn to overproduction like moths to a porch light (probably more so the recent mass wave of asmr fans in the last 2-3 years). mick’s content is very raw, and he has a strong understanding of acoustics which is his strongest asset. both he and raffy carry with them a certain “IT factor” that, for me, has always separated them from rest of the pack. also, something important to note about mick that makes his asmr special, is that he genuinely LOVES asmr. from its creation to its reception. it’s as important to him as it is to his audience. he’s no asmrtist, he’s an asmrSage ;)

@@keengkai8175 Couldn't have said it better myself. There's no real heart in the over-saturated mainstream world of ASMR. It's just people jumping on a bandwagon and copying typical ASMR themes. Mickelous has always been mindful in his creativity of the sounds he creates. I mean who else has skull tapping out there? Such an awesome and cool guy! One of the most special times with Mick, apart from his return, was being able to watch him live. When the chats would be calm, his responding to people and giving shout outs made it so fun to watch. Almost makes me feel like he's been a friend. :)
