This is the part in which the protagonist decides to get over their depression and starts putting their life together, a montage of them going to the gym, the mall, the pharmacy, the park, the library and them making a cup of tea and taking it to a candle lit bathroom with a bath ready.

Picture this, You're in a supermarket in the 70s. You're comparing two oranges before deciding which to buy. It's late August, this track is playing on the speakers above you. You decided to buy both oranges and then you head to the bread aisle. It's not a story of awe and wonder. You're shopping, and that's why it's great.

I hope you don't throw out those cassette tapes because they may be the only ones left in good condition. It would be great if you could share all of the music on the cassettes. @laurenhaasnt3 жыл бұрын
I know this is two years late, but that would be C♯ Maj 9th (with a suspended G (diminished 5) that resolves into the G# (5))! This chord especially stands out beautifully since the song's original key is F♯Maj, but has modulated away, so by the time the song lands on this C♯ chord, your brain subconsciously recognizes C# is the 5th degree of F♯, and 5 wants to resolve to 1-- meaning there's a hint of (bearable, not dissonant) tension/longing.
