Episode 8 of Sounds From the City features Electric Piquete performing their original tune, "Salvo," at Skate Bird in Miami. This funky combo has been rocking the tri-county area for nearly two decades with their infectious Latin Fusion. The night's event was a dual celebration for Electric Piquete, having dropped their full length album, Azabache, as well as the release of their video for the song "Chunk". "Salvo" is the lead track on the new album, and the song they chose to kick off their set that night. Electric Piquete wowed the audience by playing a mix of old tunes, clever covers, and several songs off Azabache.
