Almighty GOD I give you praise honor and glory. Today is December 24 2019. As I prepare to celebrate another end of the year Christmas Day the day we honor Jesus. This song Soul Holiday has been a tribute to my Mother Rhoda Elizabeth Price who was born on Chtistmas day. This song speaks volumes of life to my soul. I remember the goodness of my Mothers spirit during Christmas. As I ponder over my life and think of my Mother tears of joy flood my soul. I am witnessing giving of time to family cooking wrapping gifts decorating being kind and helpful. The main thing that keeps this drive is Jesus Christ which is the reason for the sesson. My mother still live within my heart and will always be a part of me she is the reason i am who i am by GOD almighty. May each family enjoy the beauty of Christmas with family. Merry Christmas love and peace from Oklahoma.

Sounds of Blackness (and especially Ann Nesby) reach into your heart and soul like not many other R&B/gospel groups can. No matter what you're doing, Christmas is when everyone comes together and celebrates family, being together under one roof, and thanking God for the many blessings he has given us in the past year. Am I the only one still worried about the homeless lady in the video? The little girl who brings her inside has the BIGGEST heart.

here i am at my desk listening again in the middle of march. I can listen to this all year and it never gets old. Takes me to a place and time of better days. I will be 43 this year, and this instantly takes me back to family time in the early 90s, when gatherings were different. Nothing is the same and sad to say it never will be. looongggg sigh

The Christmas Holidays are very special for the black people because we have more to be thankful for. We have Christ and freedom.
