As a heads up, I think rituals can be extended rolls. This means that you can eventually get the number of successes, it will just take longer. *Update* Just had a second reading of the skill. It seems like (apologies for back seat gming). You cast the spell in one round. This causes the track to appear. The track lasts till the end of the night (see last sentence). You have to get the number of successes in a single roll (6-X). But since the track persists, there is nothing stopping you can trying multiple times.

I've not encountered that but I'll take a look and check with Mathas because that spell is BRUTAL to actually use. you need 3 successes to win, then to change the ease of the tracking roll, another 1-6 successes on top. Ouch.

Yeah. That's my thinking for a level two spell it is near impossible for you to use. The scene when you were in the hotel and just needed to see if it went upstairs was brutal. (This isn't a comment against the excellent GM. The rules are just vague.) I'll ask about, but at the moment it feels like it needs a house ruling. (I've pinged the WW FB group and one group where I know a couple of the writers lurk, will see if I can get a response) It was always one of my go to rituals. So always worth knowing. For now I think I would run. Single chance on first roll, that the trail exists for the night (as specified) You can make an extended roll to follow it, but GM can ask for occasional extra checks to follow it (the 6-x) after you have gone some distance or if you try to follow in a car etc...

The story and the episodes are so enjoyable. One advice though, mostly for Zach because he does it very often. Your character is not allowed to suspect things just because you as a player know what the storyteller told to another player. This is the most difficult part about roleplaying.

I agree he’s metagaming a bit, but his reasoning, which kind of makes sense, is probably that Zach has high intelligence, wits and manipulation, which would make him quite good at guessing and reading people. He takes it too far and jumps to conclusions Zach probably wouldn’t, but it’s not entirely unfounded

Its so crazy that Dakota leaves bc of the Camarilla threat to Ollie's son, when Mark (the Anarch leader) is their #1 suspect. Glad Ava (and to a lesser extent Ollie) let her have it, a perpetually 17 year old who always thinks they're right can only go so far before their attitude gets the other characters to turn on them.

That is a Predator Type you can select. Its called Blood Leech iirc, choosing it gives you +1 blood potency but -1 humanity. I've heard elsewhere it's a difficult type to play though, as getting blood from other vamps isn't easy and you have to make some kind of roll to be able to drink other types

Though she really did get the hyper boring outcome, since noming on your own clan doesn't even unlock access to learn new disciplines. . The lol fail hilarity of a frenzied tremere, from repeatedly failing at magic and his bff going back to the Cam. . Saito frenzied in somebody else's haven destroying stuff and didn't even offer to pay to replace their busted stuff. That is so rude. . That moment when the Cam coterie has to start considering putting the gangrel down.
