We live in a coyote and owl invested area so when our cat got out recently we thought she was a goner. After scouring the neighborhood with no sign of her we were convinced she had been eaten. It suddenly occurred to me to set up some speakers just inside the door and to play a cat video. I found this one, set up the speakers, hit play and - I am not exaggerating at all - within 15 seconds our cat came running in the door. I was so inspired that I’m leaving a comment on a you tube video for the first time in my life. Thanks for posting this. It saved one cat and two little girls’ hearts.

I heard cats meowing for almost 24 hours but no one in the neighborhood could figure out where the sounds were coming from, as every time someone got close to the meowing, it would stop. I waited around for hours to try and pinpoint where the cats were trapped, but the meows were getting weaker and less frequent as the day went on. Eventually it occurred to me to try playing this video in hopes that they would respond, and it worked! The cats started consistently meowing back and I was able to free a cat and a month-old kitten from under the hoods of two separate cars, one of which is now my cat. I’ll always be grateful to this video for helping me save two cats that day.

This always works!! I will use it when I haven’t seen her for a few hours and I want to make sure she’s okay and no one accidentally let her outside without me having to search the whole house. It does seem like it makes your kitty concerned, perhaps it’s a mamma cat noise that triggers them? But I use it to locate her. She has also darted into my apartment lobby to hide under the bicycles to “play” and if I use this, she comes right back inside! Super useful!

Thank you for this video! We found a 1 ~ 2 week old kitten in a tree at my local park. My sister climbed into the tree, and the kitten got scared and climbed around 10 ~ 12 feet into the tree. We played this video, and it attracted the curious kitty, and my sister was able to get it down. The kitten was very brave. We have not found out the gender and we named it 'Maple', since we found it in a maple tree. Thanks again for this video, just know this video has saved a kitten! ❤

My 2 black cats wandered over to the farmer's land behind out home 15 minutes ago and it's about the time when the coyotes come out. I could barely see them in the distance (thank goodness they stay together). I have to tell you I used this sound dozens of times over the past 12 hours to try and find my kitten who had gotten out 5 days ago. I lost my cat a little more than a year ago. Well, technically, i didnt lose him; he went out, like everyday summer day, but did not come home one night. I started looking for him nonchalantly, because it happens sometimes,especially when its not cold outside. But as the temperature kept suddenly lowering, i started worrying and looking for him everywhere. Kept walking, calling for him, i asked a few people, few neighbours, but that was not enough. I didnt keep my cat from going outside, because i believed it was against his nature, i was not comfortable with that and i did not want to deprive him of anything. Looking back on it, maybe i was just too irresponsible to find ways of keeping him inside. I kept looking for him as the temperatures lowered. I didnt even micropchip him: i was too careless to do it. I got this cat at 11 years old, i should have known a few years later that those things are important. After a week, i faced a wall: he has never gone so long. I did not understand; he was a prudent cat, he was 13 but jumped/ran like he was 5yo, and he knows the neighbourhood well. Why was this happening to me?? Probably to punish me, because i took my cat for granted. I started posting “cat lost” flyers, and i looked everywhere online. I called petshops and shelters. Watched lost and found pets updates on every webpage. Kept doing it, week after week, even it was more and more improbable to find him. I have infinite imagination, i kept believing he would pop out of nowhere and all the HOW WHEN WHERE would unfold upon me and relieve me from my guilt. One year and a few months later, nothing had happened. I dont know where he is, but im probably never going to see him again. I wish i could go back and microchip him. I wish i didnt let him out that night. We had a strong bond and i really appreciated him presence. It has affected me a lot and I cannot move on; i keep blaming myself and wondering what happened to him. Anyway, I stumbled on this video, and i remembered that i tried it when looking for him. But i should have looked more, and put on the volume higher, even if it was late. I guess time heals everything so ill just keep waiting.
