the problem is that the weapon being so good makes new players pick pyro, which leads to them walking into danger expecting the gas passer to save them, then dying. and they top damage anyways. it's pretty stupid. obviously i have no problem with better players using it, but it makes it impossible for new players to learn.

for the record, they patched the explosion damage counting towards recharge. It's still ridiculously powerful though, you just have to be slightly more judicious with when you decide to deploy it

Soundsmith is unknowingly a freakin warlock of the friggin butterfly effect. His chaotic shenanigans send ripples that influence everything from the steam marketplace to entire communities. The man is partically an SCP. His anomalous property is that he can just randomly generate controversy. And like, he can't even control it, it just happens. Like this video resulted in a massive degree of contention in the MVM community to this day. It's just ludicrous.
