well, well, well,.... it's not Mozart or Beethoven. Or even Dire Straits. Just a few notes over and over during an hour!!

And I thought I had heard all of Klaus, that genius of ambient drone. I love his music and so good to find another wonderful work.

Out of curiosity, is this the original cassette or a remixed/remastered version? In another version (now gone from YT, alas!), the first two sections of "Desert Flower" are reversed, and the zither in the last section is musically more active and higher in the mix.

@@jvasche75 Mildly has made hisself uncontactable again, or I'd ask him to re-up the original Kalengra, which he seems to have overlooked. Thing is, as I keep saying here on various KW uploads - he got it all from soulseek. If you can download that, maybe you'll find it all. If you can't, I can put you on to a cat who might be able to burn you a cd-r of it (and more maybe). His cd-r's are probably the only ones I've encountered that last/don't disintegrate. Better of course if you were independent.......I would've saved quite a few bob if I were......but very glad he provided that service, what with the lousy unavailability of so many KW releases.

@@clangersspace2679 The ongoing saga of Mildly Amusing? I never have understood what the problem was. I will follow your tips and try to find other Klaus invaluables that i seem to have lost over the years.

@@jvasche75 i have two versions of Kalengra and they are identical, he simply cut the cassette version into tracks for Umbra reissue. the order is the same.
