This sounds like the music from a commercial for the best VHS tapes 1986 has to offer.

is it me or does the music of yesteryear feel more honest than modern day music? does it not feel like this music is a more honest expression of the human condition than a track by Taylor Swift? Of course it does but that's the point...this music was made to convey a feeling...how did we let music turn into a money making machine?? have you noticed how everything that is touched by money is immediately soiled...?? the best music is the music we make on our own...to please ourselves...everyone else just picks up on the human expression part...recording how we feel in the sounds we have access to...beautiful x

if anything the independent music of today is more honest and accessible than it has ever been. it's a miracle alone that you were able to find this vintage recording, now go find the millions of independent non-commercial releases that are being released today.

@@jukujuku6153 - I love your comment: If you care to look you'll find that every era has its great music and its awful music, plus there is personal taste which is very varied, meaning that, what one person loves another will hate. And you are right - there is definitely plenty of amazing independent music being made today. But if I was going to agree with anything about mainstream modern music I might bemoan what I see as overproduction which gives (to my ears) a synthetic/ungenuine/soulless feel. But weirdly, when the folk rock and pop music of the 70's gave way to the 80's electronic and synth music, many commentators said the same thing about this new music.

What’s your process for the visuals that play on the sides of the album?
