Aristeo - Sonidista [1983]

I am his daughter. I can tell you that his music was a result of meditation and remote viewing, although as a little girl I had no idea what he was doing at the time. He considered himself a poor musician and believed that the sounds he produced came from elsewhere in the Noosphere. He saw himself as merely a willing vessel, perceiving and hearing things that he could only replicate through sounds similar to these.

I discovered this musician when mexican radio La Ruleta played unreleased music by Via Lactea and Aristeo way back in 1972. Though Aristeo's compositions are worth a listening, Carlos Alvarado (Via Lactea) is a much inspired musician and synth player. Both musicians are quite interesting. Thanks again SOTD for this rare tape.

This is pretty fucking far out. I think Aristeo was tapping into something a bit deeper than most of the electronic acts of this time.
