I just can`t negate it : There is nothing that can equal the sound of Sonus Faber speakers , specially the top models . I have the Electa Amator II for many years and still they surprise me often . I combine them with Sonus Faber subwoofers so I have an enormous bias , lol... I would love to get the Amati G5 pair , for sure .

I would love to hear, personally, the new Serafino. If I decide to "sell the farm" I'd be looking into a pair in graphite. That's of course only if they sound as nice as they look and beat out my "little" Dynaudio C1 platinums 😅

@@redleather100 never say never, but I'm not sure I'll ever sell the C1s even if I buy something else. I just don't think it would be worth it for however much I'd get for them. (Been noticing prices around $4000 as of late)

@@scaf_007vs3 I think they broke the mould when they made the c1 . I actually swapped them for the c2 thinking bigger is better, way too big for my room and brighter than the sun . I was wrong . Then I swapped the c2s for some q acoustics concept 500 😬 the chap has a you tube channel called studio incar I think he blew the crossover on them but didn’t take the blame as they were faultless when I had them . Check out the video of him replacing the crossovers .

I have some monitor audio platinum 300 mk2 speakers with a pathos heritage amp . I still don’t have that magic from the dynaudio c1s with my Cambridge audio edge amp I had then using the internal DAC . It was as they say synergy 😍

I am so torn between these and the next step the Mc901's - aaaah - but what a nice problem to have - vis a vis - will I, someone who knows all about hi-end as I used to sell it, even notice or appreciate the difference? I think I would but then the price difference is huge and then I would probably need to upgrade the Mc Pre-amp as well. Dilemma.

probably the best sonus faber speakers in their catalogue. they rest sound kinda Foggy (in my ears of course). having said that. still wouldn't buy them. i much prefer HARBETH M40.3 . and it's for a lot less (about 24 K a pair) than 60K
