cool Video, thanks! - very creative how you managed to put cristallizer in 3 different ways on your 3 Notes of the same sound. Inspires me a lot! If you look forward to put more videos out like this i recommend to generalize your Hints for your audience. In your video it sounds like you can just put it on YOUR sounds and it makes those effects, instead of showing new producers, some ways how to get there very easy :) for example, like: Take a random Plug. Play a chord. Split it in 3 Notes. Link each Note to the mixer and try out to put different Crystallizer Presets on them. Look what happens: Show them. Then - "i used this technique in my latest track... here s they way i used it there" - Show them the way in your track. And that s it :D If you do it like this. Your tips are more easy to understand and you bring your audience from an easy topic, to an explanation, ending with a good example (your track). It`s like a chain of arguments where you save time and your audience can understand you better. :) but Keep goin :) Greetings spif p.s.: if you r up for a future Bass colab, just pn me :) Your melodies are awesome and i think our sound will fit together very good :)

noob question - but what is freezing tracks all about?

Freezing tracks is converting the MIDI and the chain of VSTs/effects plugins to audio. This saves a lot of CPU and is also helpful when collaborating and your partner doesn't have the same plugins as you. It's best to do it when you won't need to change the MIDI. But you can also copy the MIDI to a spare blank channel underneath. Thanks, this is a good idea for a video!

@@Icevena Thanks for your reply. In effect this freezing thing is a better way of what I do which is recording the midi track then deleting it - in order to, as you say, to cut down on CPU usage. I'm a dunce at this tech stuff. My first recording was with two tape recorders one playing a backing track of drums and my bass track playing whilst I recorded myself singing and playing guitar through a five watt K-Amp. I had to tune down because the tape machine didn't record 'faithfully' like its logo said. The result was a catastrophe of course with so much tape hiss and noise that it sounded like it'd been recorded in an underwater factory. I really don't get or appreciate or use those 'Tape noise' plug-ins for that 'authentic eighties sound' because it WAS AWFUL!! Anyway, I liked and subscribed to your channel - your vids are entertaining and useful. Hope all's good :)
